Converting images to PDF: frequently asked questions
Which image formats are accepted?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP. Each image becomes one page of the PDF, at its original resolution.
Is photo quality preserved?
Yes. Images are embedded in the PDF without being downsized, at their original resolution. If the resulting file is too heavy, run it through the compression tool afterwards.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Your images, whether an ID document or a proof of address, never leave your device.
Can I put several images on the same page?
No: the tool places one image per page, which matches the most common use, one document, scan or photo per page. You can then change the page order with the Organise tool.
Does the conversion work from a phone?
Yes. On Android, iPhone and iPad, pick the photos of your documents from your gallery and save them as a PDF from the browser, with no app.
Does this PDF need to be signed?
Send it for electronic signature in minutes: your signers sign from their phone, without creating an account.
