Electronic signature for French energy renovation

RGE contractors, administrative and financial delegates, Accompagnateurs Rénov' (MAR), ANAH operators (Soliha, Urbanis, CitéMétrie), CEE delegates — manage the entire energy-renovation contractual chain with compliant electronic signature. MaPrimeRénov' / ANAH / CEE / éco-PTZ mandates, RGE certificates, regulatory energy audits, construction quotes, third-party payer: all signed in 2 minutes, ANAH-accepted and admissible on audit.

Real blockers in the French energy-renovation journey

MaPrimeRénov' payment delays extended by incomplete or wrongly signed mandates. ANAH audits (5 years after payment) requiring production of the original mandate — lost by 30% of contractors. CEE cold-calling banned since the 24 July 2020 Act, requiring initial consent tracing. Tripartite RGE contractor + customer + delegate impossible to arrange on paper without a physical meeting. Certyneo solves these four blockers with mobile flow, individual SMS-OTP, and 10-year archiving with admissible eIDAS audit trail.

Every act of the energy-renovation journey

Six document families covering the entire journey, from quote to aid collection.

Aid mandates (MPR, ANAH, CEE, éco-PTZ)

Administrative and financial mandates letting an RGE contractor, broker or MAR file applications and collect aid on behalf of the beneficiary. Accepted by ANAH since 2021 at AES eIDAS level.

RGE contractor certificate

Certificate by which the contractor certifies their RGE qualification (Qualibat, Qualit'EnR, Cequami) to the customer and financer. Timestamped at quote date, admissible to certifying bodies on audit.

Regulatory energy audit

Mandatory diagnosis for selling F/G homes (Climate Act art. 158) and for MaPrimeRénov' Parcours accompagné. Signed by the RGE auditor and the owner, 10-year archiving.

Energy-renovation quote

Construction quote with mandatory mentions (SIRET, RGE, decennial warranty, HT/TTC prices), mobilisable aid and timestamped 14-day withdrawal. French Consumer Code L221-1+ compliant.

RGE contractor third-party payer

Tripartite contract customer + contractor + CEE obligated party, by which the CEE bonus is deducted directly from the quote. Accepted by all obligated parties since 2020.

Assignment of renovation aids

Assignment of claim (art. 1321 French Civil Code) letting a financial delegate become the holder of the right to collect aid in place of the beneficiary. Debtor notification included.

Frequently asked questions

Can MaPrimeRénov' and ANAH mandates really be signed electronically?
Yes — ANAH explicitly accepts mandates signed with eIDAS advanced signature (AES) since its 30 March 2021 circular, extended to MaPrimeAdapt' in January 2024. Advanced signature is the standard: identity verification by SMS-OTP, unique per-signer certificate, qualified timestamp. Article 1366 of the French Civil Code grants full probative force.
How many signers does Certyneo handle in parallel?
Up to 50 signers per envelope on all paid plans. For energy renovation, the typical flow is tripartite (RGE contractor + beneficiary + delegate) but can reach 5 signers in co-ownership (property manager + council) or Parcours accompagné (mandatory Mon Accompagnateur Rénov'). Sequential or parallel signing.
How long are signed documents archived?
10 years included in all Certyneo plans, broadly covering regulatory requirements: 5-year ANAH audit (art. R321-23 French Construction Code), 6-year CEE audit (art. R221-1 French Energy Code), 10-year decennial construction warranty (art. 1792 French Civil Code), éco-PTZ loan duration up to 20 years. Beyond, archiving is free for Business and Enterprise accounts.
Is the eIDAS audit trail admissible to ANAH or the CEE office?
Yes — advanced signature benefits from the reliability presumption of article 1367 of the French Civil Code. In ANAH audits, the proof PDF (SMS-OTP identity + qualified timestamp + SHA-256 hash + IP geolocation) is accepted on the same footing as a paper mandate. Same for the national CEE office (Lyon) and DGCCRF.
How much does electronic signature cost at Certyneo?
Permanent free plan: 5 envelopes / month, multi-signers, AES eIDAS, 10-year archiving included — perfect for a solo contractor or a starting MAR. Pro plan at €9/month: 100 envelopes, company branding, API. Business plan for platforms (Effy, Hellio) with unlimited API and SSO. See /pricing for details.
