A team dedicated to European electronic signature
Certyneo is a French eIDAS-compliant electronic signature platform, designed to offer European companies a simple, fast and sovereign alternative to long-established US providers. Our mission: to enable every organisation, from freelancers to large enterprises, to sign their documents online with complete legal peace of mind.

Our mission
The eIDAS regulation, which came into force in 2016, established a unified legal framework for electronic signatures across the European Union. Yet the majority of French and European companies still rely on US-based solutions subject to extraterritorial laws (Cloud Act, FISA) that can conflict with the GDPR and data sovereignty requirements.
Certyneo was founded on the observation that the market lacked a genuinely competitive European platform: as easy to use as the US leaders, but built on principles of transparency, native compliance and local hosting. We want to make eIDAS-compliant electronic signature an accessible standard, not a premium service reserved for large corporations.
Our team
Certyneo is run by a multidisciplinary French team covering software engineering, security, legal compliance and user experience. We work in short cycles, publish our public changelog with every release and our roadmap so our priorities remain visible.
We talk directly to our users: every feature request or bug report is read and triaged. To reach us, write to [email protected] or use our contact form.

Our principles
Four commitments that shape every product decision we make.
Compliance by default
eIDAS and GDPR compliance are designed in from the start, never optional. We provide a standard DPA, an audit trail embedded in the PDF and 10-year archiving included in every plan.
European digital sovereignty
Infrastructure hosted 100% in Germany (IONOS), no data transfers outside the EU, no dependency on any provider subject to the US Cloud Act or any extraterritorial law.
A dedicated team
A French team combining product, security and digital law expertise. We talk directly to our users and publish our roadmap openly.
Radical transparency
No hidden prices, no surprise quotas, no lock-in. Our client-side application code is inspectable and our terms of service fit on just a few pages.
Security and compliance
Our compliance rests on four reference texts. Each governs a specific aspect of our platform.
