How to create a contract online?
- 1
Describe your needs
Answer a few questions: contract type, parties, key obligations, duration. The generator assembles a structured draft contract, clause by clause, in proper legal wording.
- 2
Review and adjust
Freely edit the generated text: add a clause, refine a condition, adapt the annexes. The document remains yours — you control every word before sending.
- 3
Send for electronic signature
Add the signers and the signature fields, then send: each party signs online, without an account, with OTP authentication at the advanced level. The signed PDF comes back sealed, with its audit trail.
Which contracts can you create online?
Commercial, HR, service and confidentiality agreements: start from a tailored generation or a ready-made template, then get everything signed right away.
- Ready-to-use contract templates
- Employment contract
- Service agreement
- Non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
- Commercial contract
What legal value does a contract created online have?
A contract created and signed online has the same evidential force as paper: under the eIDAS regulation (art. 25), a document cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is electronic, provided the signer can be identified and the document's integrity is guaranteed. In France, articles 1366 and 1367 of the Civil Code say exactly that.
In practice, every contract sent from Certyneo is signed with signer authentication, cryptographically sealed, timestamped and delivered with a full audit trail — the body of evidence that makes the contract stand up in court. For the most sensitive deeds, the qualified signature (QES) is available per act.

Frequently asked questions
Are AI-generated contracts legally valid?
Yes, once reviewed. Certyneo is a contract drafting assistant: the AI produces contracts meeting professional standards, but we always recommend a review by a lawyer for high-stakes agreements.
Is my data shared with the AI?
Your prompts are transmitted to our AI providers through strict DPA agreements. Data is stored in the EU (IONOS, EU) and prompts are anonymized after 90 days. No data is used to train models.
What languages and jurisdictions are supported?
The generator supports French, English and Spanish. It covers the 27 EU countries, Switzerland, the UK, and the 17 OHADA member countries in West and Central Africa.
Can I edit the contract after generation?
Yes. Once generated, you can edit the text, refine specific clauses with AI ("make this clause stricter"), and archive multiple versions before signing.
How does signing work?
Directly from the contract: add signers, choose simple (SES) or advanced (AES, with email + SMS OTP), and they receive a secure link by email. No Certyneo account required to sign.
