Yousign pricing, now Youtrust: the plans, the free tier and what a qualified signature costs
Yousign has changed its name. The grid has not moved: a tightly bounded free tier, three paid plans of which two are billed per user, and a qualified signature sold by the unit whose price depends on how you buy it. This page reproduces each line as published, in euros for the European market, and says what the free tier really allows.
Yousign, Youtrust: what changed
The rename was announced in November 2025 and completes in the summer of 2026. The old domain now redirects to the new one, and the company has publicly confirmed that pricing is unchanged. The new name covers a broader offering — identity verification, electronic seal, archiving — of which electronic signature is only one component.
In practice, if you are a customer, nothing changes on your invoice or your account. And if you are searching for “Yousign”, you are searching for the right company: that is still the name it is known by.
What the free tier actually allows
This is the most asked question about this product, and the answer comes down to two limits.
- You can sign your own documents without limit. Self-signing consumes no quota: for strictly personal use, the free tier is enough.
- You can only send 2 signature requests a month. As soon as a third party has to sign — a client, an employee, a business partner — that cap is what decides, and it is reached quickly.
- One user only. A second colleague who needs to send documents pushes you onto a paid plan, billed per user.
The free tier is therefore a genuine permanent level, not a disguised trial — a point where Yousign stands apart from DocuSign, which offers none. A 14-day trial separately lets you test the paid plans.

As with most vendors, Plus and Pro are billed PER USER: a team of three on Plus is 828 € a year. In exchange, neither plan imposes a signature cap — a point where the offer is more generous than DocuSign's, priced the same but limited to 100 envelopes per user per year.
What is billed outside the plan
Three options are added to the subscription, and the first is the one that matters for administrative formalities.
- The eIDAS qualified signature is sold by the unit: around 15 € per signature when buying 1 to 9 monthly, and from 10 € per unit in an annual pack of 10 or more. The price therefore depends on volume AND on commitment.
- The advanced signature is also billed separately, and only on an annual commitment.
- Single sign-on and directory synchronisation are reserved for the Pro plan, at extra cost. Text messages, storage and integrations, by contrast, are included at no additional charge.
The case of the qualified signature
This is the heaviest line item for occasional use. A change-of-details filing with a company registry, a response to a public tender, a high-stakes deed: these require the qualified level, and you then have to add the subscription and the price of the signature together. Bought as a single unit, around 15 € is added to the plan; the price only falls towards 10 € by committing to an annual pack of ten signatures or more.
At Certyneo, the same qualified signature is billed 9,90 € per act, from any plan — including the free one — with no pack to fund up front. For an isolated signature, that is the difference between paying a subscription plus 15 €, and paying 9,90 €.
When Yousign is the right choice
A page written by a competitor has to say what works in the other party's favour. Yousign is solid on three fronts: unlimited signatures on the paid plans, which keeps the cost predictable as volume grows; a permanent free tier, rare in this market; and a French base with support in the language, which many public buyers and small companies look at first.
The calculation inverts for an occasional, qualified need: there the subscription is added to the price of the signature, and no volume amortises it.
