Hello, I am a guarantor for a tenant and I would like to know if I can electronically sign a guarantee deed. I heard this has been possible since 2022, but I'm not sure.

Yes, in practice, a guarantee deed can be signed electronically, even though the handwritten mention has been replaced by a written mention by the guarantor themselves since 2022.

Advanced Level: Use the Advanced level (AES) to ensure the security of your electronic signature. This requires an SMS code sent by Certyneo.
Text Field: Add a text field in your envelope so the guarantor can write their mention. This will replace the handwritten signature.
Caution: In case of dispute, it is recommended to keep a written record of the guarantee deed, even if the electronic signature is valid.
