Copy-paste boilerplate

Certyneo is a French electronic-signature platform compliant with the European eIDAS regulation, founded in 2024 in Paris. The solution covers all three signature levels (SES, AES, QES) with fully EU hosting (Germany) and a transparent flat-rate pricing model starting at €19/month for 5 users.

Certyneo's positioning rests on three pillars: European data sovereignty (escapes the US Cloud Act that applies to US-domiciled players), native eIDAS compliance with no paid option, and a flat-rate pricing model rather than per-seat — which can divide the annual bill by 5 to 10× compared with the US sector leaders.

Certyneo targets French and European SMBs and mid-market companies, with vertical solutions for HR, real estate, legal, healthcare, banking & insurance, construction, accounting, associations and agencies. The platform is used by 1,200+ companies and supports 197 UI languages.

Short version (140 characters)

Certyneo: eIDAS electronic signatures, EU hosting, from €19/month flat-rate. French alternative to DocuSign for European SMBs.

The short boilerplate fits in a tweet. The longer 3-paragraph version above can serve as an "About Certyneo" footnote at the end of articles.

Suggested editorial angles

Four factual angles depending on your cluster. Each angle is backed by a verifiable data point or public document we can share on request.

  • EU sovereignty and the Cloud Act

US electronic-signature players (DocuSign, Dropbox Sign, SignNow) are legally exposed to the US Cloud Act — their data can be requisitioned by US authorities regardless of physical hosting. Certyneo, a French entity hosted in Germany, escapes this exposure.

  • eIDAS 2.0 and EUDI Wallet

The eIDAS 2.0 regulation (EU 2024/1183) in force since April 2024 paves the way for the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet). Signature platforms must adapt to integrate this new cross-border identification standard. Certyneo is preparing native EUDI Wallet support for Q4 2026.

  • Flat-rate vs per-seat pricing

The dominant pricing model (DocuSign, Yousign, Adobe Sign) charges per sender, making costs scale linearly with team size. Certyneo offers a flat-rate model that can divide the bill by 5 to 10× for a team of 5+ people.

  • Electronic-signature penetration in France

92% of French companies have switched at least partially to electronic signatures in 2026 (vs 68% in 2022). The French legaltech signature market is worth around €480M with annual growth of +18% between 2025 and 2026.
