Before a contract goes to the client for signature, it has to be approved internally by my manager. Can I add an approval step?
Yes, using the approval workflow. You can designate one or more internal approvers who must validate the document before it goes out to the external signers.
The approver gets a notification, reviews the document and approves it (or sends it back for changes). Only once approval is granted does the signature request actually go out. It's a solid way to secure your process on high-stakes documents.
