Yes. Tenancy agreements (other than long leases that must be by deed) are form-free and can be signed entirely electronically. The advanced signature (AES) of Certyneo evidences identity, time and integrity and is admissible as evidence.
Can I complete a property sale through Certyneo?
A contract for the sale of land must be in writing and signed (LP(MP)A 1989, s. 2). HM Land Registry accepts electronic signatures (Practice Guide 82), but transfers executed as deeds need a physically present witness. Certyneo covers the contractual documents and flags deeds.
