Course and enrolment agreements are form-free and signed via a link in minutes. The learner — or those with parental responsibility for minors — signs on mobile; the audit trail records the enrolment and time.

Placement agreements

Work placement agreements are signed between provider, employer and student with a defined order. The eIDAS evidence report shows the three-party agreement with integrity.

Consent and data forms

Image-use, trip and data protection consents are confirmed digitally. For children under 13, consent from those with parental responsibility is captured (UK GDPR, age of consent for information society services).

Course and enrolment agreements are generally form-free, subject to pre-contract information duties under consumer law for non-regulated training. Certyneo records the information provided and the signature with integrity and a timestamp.

Children’s consent under the UK GDPR

For information society services, a child can consent from age 13 in the UK; below that, consent from a holder of parental responsibility is required. Certyneo captures that consent with a timestamp, hosts in the EU and provides a UK GDPR-compliant data processing agreement.

Are electronically signed enrolment agreements valid?

Yes. Course and enrolment agreements are form-free and can be signed electronically. The advanced signature (AES) of Certyneo evidences identity, time and integrity and is admissible as evidence.

How is children’s consent captured?

For children under 13, Certyneo obtains consent from a holder of parental responsibility via a link and records it with a timestamp and audit trail (UK GDPR). Data is hosted in the EU.

Can all three parties sign the placement agreement?

Yes. Certyneo coordinates signing by provider, employer and student with a defined order and a lock until fully signed. Each signature is captured individually and the agreement archived with integrity.
