A team dedicated to European electronic signature
Certyneo is a French electronic signature platform compliant with eIDAS, designed to offer European companies a simple, fast and sovereign alternative to historic American solutions. Our mission: enable any organisation, from freelancer to large enterprise, to sign its documents online with complete legal peace of mind.

Our mission
The eIDAS regulation, which came into force in 2016, established the foundations of a uniform legal framework for electronic signatures in the European Union. Yet, the majority of French and European companies still use American solutions today, subject to extraterritorial laws (Cloud Act, FISA) that can conflict with GDPR and data sovereignty.
Certyneo was born from the observation that there was a lack of a truly competitive European platform: as simple to use as American leaders, but built on principles of transparency, native compliance and local hosting. We want to make eIDAS-compliant electronic signature a standard that is accessible, not a premium service reserved for large enterprises.
Our team
Certyneo is supported by a multidisciplinary French team: software engineering, security, legal compliance and user experience. We work in short cycles, publish our public changelog with each release and our roadmap to make our priorities visible.
We engage directly with our users: every feature request or bug report is read and reviewed. To reach us, write to support@certyneo.com or use our contact form.

Our principles

Compliance by design
eIDAS and GDPR compliance built in from the start, not as an option. We provide a standard DPA, integrated audit trail in PDF and 10-year archival included in all plans.
European digital sovereignty
Infrastructure 100% hosted in Germany (IONOS), no data transfer outside the EU, no dependence on a vendor subject to the American Cloud Act or any extraterritorial law.
A dedicated team
A French team that combines product expertise, security and digital law. We engage directly with our users and publish our roadmap publicly.
Radical transparency
No hidden fees, no surprise quotas, no lock-in. Our application code is inspectable on the client side and our terms of use fit on a few pages.
Security and compliance
Our compliance is based on four reference texts. Each one covers a specific aspect of our platform.
