The electronically signed report starts warranty periods (final completion, two-year, ten-year) from the document's timestamp date. The date is even more opposable than a paper report (qualified RFC 3161 timestamp) as it cannot be modified.

- Yes for viewing and local signature. The signature link opens in the browser; if the signer is in a dead zone, they can sign offline and the signature will be transmitted when the network returns. The RFC 3161 audit trail included in the signed PDF is more solid proof than a handwritten signature on paper for the reception date.
- How do you sign a subcontracting contract with a subcontractor who doesn't have an account?
- No account is required on the signer's side. You (main contractor) send the DC4 contract from your Certyneo account: the subcontractor receives an email with a personalized link, signs in a few clicks, the owner then receives their own signature request for approval.
