Automate your signatures with Zapier
Connect Certyneo to Google Sheets, Slack, HubSpot, Gmail and over 6,000 other applications. Each signature event can trigger a Zap, and any tool can create an envelope to sign — without writing a line of code.
The Certyneo app for Zapier is in private beta, currently being published on the Zapier App Directory. Request early access from your workspace or via support.
Why connect Certyneo to Zapier
Zapier bridges Certyneo and the rest of your stack. You automate signature tracking and contract sending without development.
Real-time triggers
Launch a Zap as soon as an envelope is sent, signed by a recipient, finalized, or rejected. Events arrive via webhook, without polling.
Actions and searches
Create an envelope and send it for signature from any Zapier trigger, or find an existing envelope by its ID or subject.
Zero code
Assemble your automations in Zapier's visual editor. No infrastructure to maintain, no webhooks to host on your side.
Secured by API key
The connection authenticates with a limited-scope Certyneo API key, which you can revoke at any time from your dashboard.
Available triggers
Each trigger starts a Zap at the precise moment the event occurs in Certyneo.
| Trigger | Triggers when… |
|---|---|
| Envelope sent | An envelope leaves draft status and goes to its recipients. |
| Recipient signed | A recipient completes their signature. Triggers once per signer, not just at the end. |
| Envelope signed | All recipients have signed: the envelope is finalized. |
| Envelope refused | A recipient refuses to sign the envelope. |
Actions and searches
Control Certyneo from any tool connected to Zapier.
Create an envelope
Compose an envelope from documents already uploaded to Certyneo, with its recipients, and send it immediately if you wish.
Find an envelope
Search for an envelope by its exact identifier or by an excerpt of its subject, to chain other steps in your Zap.
Set up the integration
Just a few minutes are enough to connect Certyneo to your Zapier applications.
- 1
Choose Certyneo in Zapier
In Zapier, create a Zap and select Certyneo as the trigger or action application.
- 2
Generate your API key
Open Certyneo → Settings → API Keys and generate a key. Copy it: it is displayed only once.
- 3
Build your Zap
Paste the key in Zapier to connect your account, then choose the trigger or action and link it to your other applications.
- 4
Test and activate
Use Zapier's built-in test with real data, then activate the Zap. Your automations will then run on their own.
Security and compliance
The Zapier connection is based on the Certyneo public API, with the same level of requirement as the rest of the platform.
- End-to-end encrypted exchanges over HTTPS.
- Limited-scope API keys: grant only necessary permissions.
- Hosting in Europe and GDPR compliance.
- Revoke a key at any time from your dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
Which Certyneo subscription is required to use Zapier?
Access to the API and webhooks, which power the integration, is available on paid plans including developer access. Triggers rely on webhooks, actions and searches on the REST API.
How do I get my API key?
From Certyneo, go to Settings → API Keys and generate a key. It starts with sk_live_ (or sk_test_ for the sandbox) and is displayed only once: copy it immediately.
Is the application already public on Zapier?
It is in private beta and being submitted to the Zapier App Directory. While awaiting public validation, you can request early access via an invitation link from support.
Which signature events are covered?
Envelope sent, recipient signed, envelope finalized and envelope refused. Other events in the envelope lifecycle are exposed by the API and can be added as triggers.
Does my data transit through Zapier?
Only metadata necessary for your automation (subject, status, signatories' emails) transits through Zapier, over encrypted exchanges. The content of signed documents is not sent in trigger payloads.
Is the Zapier integration paid?
Certyneo does not charge an additional fee for the integration. A Zapier subscription may be required depending on task volume and number of Zaps, on Zapier's side.
