Electronic signature
Definition
An electronic signature is a mechanism for affixing to a digital document proof of identity and consent equivalent to a handwritten signature. Within the meaning of the eIDAS regulation, it encompasses three trust levels: simple (SES), advanced (AES) and qualified (QES).
