- Yes. Decennial insurers accept work acceptance reports signed electronically as the start of warranties, provided the signature complies with eIDAS (advanced level recommended for amounts exceeding €100,000). The RFC 3161 audit trail included in the signed PDF is stronger proof than a handwritten signature on paper for the reception date.
- How do I sign a subcontracting agreement with a subcontractor who doesn't have an account?
- No account is required from the signer's side. You (main contractor) send the DC4 contract from your Certyneo account: the subcontractor receives an e-mail with a personalized link, signs in a few clicks, the project owner then receives their own signature request for approval. You pay per envelope sent, the subcontractor signs for free.
