Send a Google Doc without leaving it
The Certyneo panel asks for the signer's email and sends the open document: the envelope goes out from Docs, with no export and no re-upload.

Certyneo requests the drive.file scope, which only grants access to the files you explicitly designate. Your other documents stay invisible.

Open Settings, then Integrations
In your Certyneo dashboard, the Google Drive card carries the connect button.

Designate your files
Either in Drive through "Open with Certyneo", or in Certyneo through the Google picker. That gesture is what grants access, file by file.

Prepare and send
The document lands in your Certyneo library, converted to PDF if it came from Google Docs. Add the recipients, place the fields, send.
What Certyneo sees — and does not
The integration is built around the narrowest scope Google offers for Drive. That is a deliberate choice: a broad scope would give Certyneo visibility over documents that are none of its business.

Frequently asked questions
Can Certyneo read every file in my Google Drive?
No. The integration requests the drive.file scope, which only grants access to files you designate yourself, through the Google picker or the "Open with Certyneo" menu. Every other file in your Drive stays invisible to Certyneo, including its name.
Do I have to go through the Google Workspace Marketplace?
You can connect your account straight from your Certyneo settings. Installing from the Marketplace additionally adds the “Open with Certyneo” entry in Drive and the Certyneo side panel, and lets an administrator deploy the tool for a whole domain.
Can I send a Google Doc for signature?
Yes. The Certyneo panel in Google Docs exports the open document to PDF and sends it to the signer you name, without leaving Docs. Certyneo only reaches the document you point it at, never the rest of your Drive.
Which formats can I import?
PDFs, plus Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, which Certyneo converts to PDF on import. Google’s picker and the “Open with” menu only offer those formats, so you are never allowed to pick a file that would be refused a second later. Other formats go through the ordinary upload in Certyneo, which converts them.
Is the integration included in my plan?
The Google Drive connection is available on every plan, free included. Your plan's usual limits (file size, envelope count) apply to imported documents.
How do I cut off access?
In Certyneo, the "Disconnect" button on the Google Drive card revokes the token with Google. From Google, your account's third-party access page does the same. Documents already imported stay in Certyneo.
