GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
Definition
The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, EU Regulation 2016/679) governs the collection, processing and storage of personal data in the EU. In the context of electronic signatures, it requires in particular minimising the data collected on signatories, defining a retention period and ensuring the right to erasure.
